Internal Customer Support Team
Due to a pending retirement a replacement Internal Customer Support vacancy has arisen and they invite applications from a person who is capable of being trained to later take on the role full time.
The vacancy is at the GB office of an international German Valves and Controls manufacturer producing a wide range of valves and associated equipment and a world leader in Aseptic Diaphragm Valves for Bio-Pharmaceutical processes. The role is within their internal ‘Customer Support Team’ based at Warrington.
A person with an engineering interest is required to join their internal ‘Customer Support Team’. The position would suit a candidate looking for a trainee technical role in a busy sales team. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering experience would be advantageous, but not essential.
The position is based at Warrington by Junction 21 of the M6 and you must be able to commute to the office daily.
- Handling technical and commercial valves and controls enquiries from customers
- Specifying products based on customers applications
- Preparing and processing quotations
- Reviewing and processing customers’ orders
- Expediting orders and documentation as required
- Working with their external field support team to maximise sales growth and opportunities
- Mechanical / Electrical experience advantageous.
- An excellent telephone persona
- Must enjoy being part of and contributing to a small technical support team of five
- Computer literate with knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Internet
- Technical product training held in Warrington and Germany and is ongoing.
- Software training on in-house systems PiSA (Customer Relationship Manager) and Penta (business software) will be given
- Hours 0830 – 1700 Monday to Friday
