Job Description

Field Sales Engineer - Scotland - Circa £35,000 plus excellent package. I am currently recruiting for a Field Sales Engineer to work for a leading Lighting organisation. They design, manufacture and offer an extensive range of safety system products and services, including Emergency Lighting, Central Battery Systems, Luminaire Conversion Equipment, Nurse Call, Emergency Lighting Commissioning, Service and Maintenance. Ideal Qualifications and Experience: * Emergency/General Lighting Experience * Field Sales Engineer Experience Responsibilities: * Business Development * Research organizations and individuals to find new business opportunities for Products * Contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings to promote the benefits of Products * Manage the Sales region ensuring profitable growth * Identify opportunities to be a solution provider * Maintain and increase Sales income by: * Gaining and managing the specification of Products. * Creating opportunities for the use of Products within the tender stage of projects. * Maintain a high level of customer service to all stakeholders within the project/sales cycle. * Develop and maintain good relationships to all customers within the Sales Area. * Working closely with the Sales Office to ensure customer requests for information, designs, quotations and submissions are dealt with in a timely fashion * Liaise with project delivery team to agree timeframe for delivering of products and service * Maintain contact with the customer throughout the order, design and installation process to ensure smooth flow of communications and be pro-active in resolving any issues/concerns should they arise * Follow up with customers on completion of project to ensure satisfaction with products and service * Supply competitor and product feedback to the Sales Manager This is an opportunity to work for a well-established company who have a very strong heritage.
