The Staying together Service is based at Civic Centre in Bexleyheath.  As a service we work with vulnerable children and their families to improve parenting capacity and promote safety and well-being. This is achieved through both individual and group work programs. 

Multi-agency working is essential in carrying out the role within the team, as we provide services to families subject to a Child Protection Plan and Child in Need Plans.  The Family Assessment Service undertakes community based parenting assessments within Care Proceedings and under the Public Law Outline.

We are looking for a committed worker to be part of the team delivering quality services with a creative and flexible approach. You should have a child care qualification, preferably NNEB or NVQ level 3, with proven post qualification experience in a children and family setting.
