Are you looking for a rewarding job with flexibility where you can make a difference in the lives of others? Yes? We've got a great opportunity for you!

As our services continue to grow and evolve, we're looking for patient, calm and caring individuals to join our teams in Inverbervie and Stonehaven as Support Workers on a relief basis. Becoming a member of our Relief team really gives you the flexibility to fit work around your existing commitments. You tell us the hours that you're available to work and we’ll look to give you shifts that fit; giving you a great work/life balance.

Here at Cornerstone we recruit on values. It's not about what experience and qualifications you have, we're interested in what you as an individual will bring to our team. We have our own Training Academy who'll support you by giving you all the skills and qualifications you'll need to be successful in your new role, including the opportunity to complete your SVQ qualification.

Joining our team means that you'll provide invaluable support to individuals who have various disabilities and additional support needs. The support you'll give can range from assisting with morning and night-time routines to encouraging and supporting individuals with their hobbies, interests and aspirations. With your help we will enable the people we support to live independently and play an active role within their local communities.

Residents enjoy leading active and fulfilling lives and require support to attend a wide variety of social event and activities which enable them to participate in both their local and wider communities. For this it is preferable that you are a driver and willing to drive vehicles belonging to the people we support however this is not essential.

As we are dedicated to providing around the clock support that is tailored to the needs of each individual, shift patterns for our services include early mornings, evenings, weekends, sleepovers, waking nights and public holidays.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and have a willingness to work towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited along to our Cornerstone chat on Tuesday 11th February 2020.

So if you're looking for a rewarding and flexible role, what are you waiting for? Apply today! We'd love to hear from you!
