Job Description

Service Support Worker - Connecting Communities
Location: Belfast (requires travel within the Belfast area)
Contract type: Fixed Term until - December 2019
Hours per week: 25.5 hours per week
Salary: GBP 15,200 per annum, pro rata

We are looking for individuals who love helping people in need to join our fantastic Independent Living (IL) team in Belfast on a fixed term basis.

Whenever someone is feeling lonely and don't know where to turn for a friendly chat, or socially isolated and struggling to cope with the demands of life, YOU will be there to help.

There are small ways you can make a big difference to someone near to you, such as having a chat over a cup of tea, or helping them join a local community group.

There's nothing better than knowing the time we spent with someone who feels alone made them feel safer, happier, and more able to deal with crisis.

The Independent Living (IL) & Crisis Response (CR) service (IL/CR) are dedicated to making the lives of vulnerable people that little bit better. We're a small team dotted all over the country that shares the same goal - to help those that need it most.
