Job Description


We are looking for a friendly and hardworking individual to join our busy pharmacy procurement and logistics team as a Senior Pharmacy Support Worker within University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS).

The role involves working within our busy receipts team receipting over 2 million packs per year.

This is a full time position (37.5 hours per week) and will include early mornings and late nights. Weekend and bank holiday working is required on a rota basis.

This role is responsible for supervising & organising a team of Pharmacy Support Workers in the process of receipting drug deliveries into the hospital. This will include completing checks, resolving any discrepancies & then processing the deliveries onto our JAC Pharmacy system.

The ideal candidate will have previous healthcare / stores experience, show good attention to detail, and have suitable supervisory & organisational skills with excellent written and verbal communication. (Evidence of your qualifications will be required to be shown to the panel at interview).
