GENERAL SUMMARY:

As Senior Marketing Executive, you will work with the Managing Director to develop and execute the UK Veterinary Solutions marketing strategy whilst taking direct responsibility for a range of marketing activities as detailed below; including detailed campaign planning, team management and budget management. On a daily basis you will also work closely with the Global Marketing and UK Sales teams.                           

 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities:

 

General

·         Working with the Managing Director to scope out the company’s overall marketing strategy; you are responsible for planning, budgeting, scheduling and executing the Marketing plan; ensuring all planned projects are successfully fulfilled and monthly sales leads targets achieved

·         Responsible for managing annual marketing budget; including monthly cost control and accurate forecasting of spend

Marketing Campaign Planning & Execution

·         Responsible for all Agency management (Creative and Digital) and briefing / managing campaign activity

·         Responsible for  the execution of  UK lead generation/marketing campaigns across digital and printed channels for all products and services; including PR/trade advertising; building and sending email blasts and direct mail.

Event Management

·         Responsible for organising and managing  the company’s sponsorship of Trade Exhibitions in the UK; including supplier management, stand design / marketing collateral, pre and post-event promotional campaigns and all logistics associated; whilst ensuring the team delivers against event objectives

·         Responsible for organising all company Seminars and Webinars across the UK; including scheduling, venue selection (through 3rd part supplier), pre-event promotion, delegate registration/management, organizing marketing collateral, all associated logistics; whilst ensuring that lead targets are met and opportunities maximised

Digital / Social Media

·         Responsible for ensuring company website is up-to-date, utilizing the built-in content management system

·         Responsible for managing other company micro-sites, including Rx and Robovet product sites.

·         Responsible for planning and delivering the company’s Social Media strategy; creating regular content that reinforces the main marketing campaigns and company positioning (also supporting other global regions as required)

Thought Leadership

·         Responsible for creation and execution of all company whitepapers (global): managing external PR agency to plan, survey and write content.

Management / Administration

·         Ensure all projects are completed to budget and in-line with overall marketing strategy

·         Provide senior Management Team with monthly report covering achievement against lead targets

 

 

 

 


 

In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:


·          Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures.

·          Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behaviour in completing job duties and assignments.

QUALIFICATIONS:


 

Experience:

 

The successful candidate will require excellent marketing planning and communication skills, together with a proven track record of successful event management and digital marketing (including email marketing and social media). Over 3 years’ experience in a marketing role

 

 

 

Education:

 

Marketing / Business degree or equivalent  C.I.M. qualification is preferable but not essential

 

 

 

 

 

 

Other:

Where necessary the candidate will be required to work occasional evenings and weekends and be away from home for Trade / Masterclass Events
