Working in partnership with our stakeholders in health and social care, we aim to provide education that enables excellence in health and care for the people of Scotland.
What You'll Do:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated NMC registered nurse to provide visible and sustained educational leadership, working collaboratively across the Medical, and Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professions directorates.
A key outcome of the post will be to support the education and development of general practice nurses (GPN) with specific responsibility for the NES national GPN programme. This post provides an exciting opportunity to be involved in other primary care development projects and wider activity on community pathways associated with the national Transforming Roles programme.
The post holder will contribute to strategy development and implementation and lead and manage future education resources and provision.
What You'll Bring:
This will include but will not be limited to:
• NMC registered Nurse with experience in general practice or community nursing
• Leadership, change management and project management skills to ensure the delivery of initiatives at national level.
• Experience of working in an educationally focused environment or in a role with an education component.
