Locality Services - School Admissions Team, are looking to recruit three Apprentices who are committed and motivated to complete the programme.

Your duties will include; general administrative support to the School Admissions Team.  This will include answering the telephone, dealing with calls from parents and schools, scanning, sending emails, filing, mail outs, shredding and photocopying. Assist in producing reports and dealing with confidential information and data, including data checking and data cleansing.

Job purpose:

To gain experience general office and administrative duties, the provision of excellent customer care and the promotion of the Council’s Regulation & Compliance service.

Main duties to include:

  • Provide general administrative support to the Locality South Division - School Admissions Team. This will include answering the telephone, dealing with calls from parents and schools
  • Scanning, sending e-mails, filing, mail outs, shredding and general admin
  • Assist in producing reports and dealing with confidential information and data
  • Data checking and data cleansing
