Sales Administrator

Based In Dudley

£18,000 - £20,000

Permanent Position

Full Time

My Client, in the Dudley area, is looking to recruit a Sales Administrator to join their expanding team.

Duties Include but are not limited to:
*First point of contact for daily incoming sales enquiries.
*Effective monitoring of emails.
*Informing customers of stock availability.
*Communicating new price lists to customers.
*Provide quotations to customers.
*Raising new sales orders and acknowledging new orders.
*Process works orders accurately and efficiently.
*Maintain office filing system ensuring documentation is up to date and accurate.
*Responsible for the up keep of web shop
*Onsite customer visits supporting the sales manager
*Expanding current customer base when required
*Working within the warehouse & understanding products
*Read & work with detailed customer drawings

Skills/Experience Required:
*Previous work experience within an office environment is essential.
*Experience within the Automotive industry is advantageous, however full training will be provided.
*IT knowledge is essential, including MS Office, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
*Due to the nature of this role, UK travel may be required, so a full valid driving license would be advantageous.
*Flexible approach to work in order to meet deadlines.
*Uses available resources effectively.
*Demonstrates initiative and personal motivation.
*Keen attention to detail.
*Displays an understanding of how the job relates to others within the team.
*A knowledge and passion for the automotive industry would also be advantageous.
*Experience using web commerce & Ebay would be an advantage but not essential

The above role is based on a permanent full time position. Hours of work are Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:30PM with 1 hour's lunch. You would be required to work 1 in 6 Saturdays 9:00AM - 12:00PM.
