The role

This is an exciting time for Resource Management as we build on the professionalism of our people and work closely with the business to develop and implement PwC business and people strategy and continue to strengthen our business.

Based in our Newcastle office and supporting working in our Belfast and Newcastle teams as part of the Northern Audit Resource Management team, you will have the chance to influence the longer term Resourcing strategy, and to assist the firm in being more agile and providing the right people on the right projects at the right time. This role will involve:

  • Day to day deployment of staff to projects/assignments balancing the needs of the business with the needs of the individual

  • Improving agility by helping to evolve the Resourcing strategy

  • Producing, using and analysing information to make resourcing decisions and recommendations

  • Build strong relationships within the business unit and the wider resourcing function to enable greater effectiveness in providing solutions for resourcing demands

  • Build relationships with stakeholders and become the point of contact and trusted advisor for resourcing

Additionally, you will be working closely with Resource Management colleagues across the Northern Audit team covering the Commercial Audit business of PwC with teams in Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen. This Resource Officer role provides you with an opportunity to build on your professional career to date.   • Excellent IT skills - MS Office, Manpower planning Systems

  • Experience of conflict resolution, with the ability to manage complex conflicts between numerous stakeholders

  • Flexibility and ability to learn quickly in a fast moving environment

  • Ability to travel to Newcastle on a weekly/fortnightly basis
