Recruitment Resourcer - High Volume
Job Description
“Behind every successful Recruitment Consultant is an even more talented Resourcer”. A well-known and often used phrase......ok, maybe not, but here at Stafffinders we feel it should be!
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and ambitious Recruitment Resourcer to join our fast-paced and growing Industrial Division. This key role would be ideal for somebody with a strong resourcing background in either the construction, industrial or care sector (anything high volume!). We will consider individuals from other sectors as well, you just need to show us you are used to dealing with temporary recruitment, in a fast-paced and compliance-driven environment.
What you get from us…
Everyone wants to know the benefits to a new job, so let’s get that one out the way first…
- Highly competitive salary,
- Definite progression pathway,
- Potential for flexible working hours,
- Time in lieu accrual,
- Development opportunities such as industry accredited qualifications from the REC and world-renowned training platforms such as “Social Talent”,
- Length of service benefits such as extra days’ holiday and private healthcare,
- And most important of all, your birthday off every year (don’t worry if it falls on the weekend, you can take another day off of your choosing).
Besides the aforementioned bonus opportunities, we offer regular and varied performance-related incentives and prizes (a family trip to Disneyland Paris currently up for grabs – going next year obviously!). You will get the chance to have your ideas heard and implemented, as we don’t like to micromanage, rather be supportive and open-minded in our approach. Last but not least, if you are really good you will get the chance to progress within the company.
Who we are…
Stafffinders are a second-generation, family-led business, very much at the forefront of temporary and permanent Scottish recruitment since 1971. So much so, we have won several awards over recent years, including “Outstanding Performing Business” at the ROCCO Awards. With offices in both the west and east coast, we cover the length of breadth of Scotland (also internationally thanks to the continued success of our sister company, Kingpin – who are also recruiting in Edinburgh, in case that’s more to your liking). Members of both APSCO and REC trade bodies, our values and ethics are very much in line with our family background. We also work closely with both community and charity organisations, recently raising awareness and funds for charities such as Cash for Kids, RAMH and MND.
What we want from you…
You will be somebody who thrives on interacting with other people, whilst being highly organised and driven. You should be a proactive individual, possess a keen eye for detail and take great pride and self-satisfaction in following tasks through to completion. Enjoyment of working in a fast-paced, pressured (yet fun) environment is essential, as is the ability to multi-task.
Key responsibilities of the role include pre-screening candidates including right to work checks, advertising job vacancies online, collating weekly timesheets for payroll, online candidate searching, database/booking management and maintaining candidate relationships.
You should have tremendous administration skills, be very much IT and social media literate, as well as having fantastic customer service skills. Time-management is vital, as you will need to work quickly to meet strict targets and deadlines, often at short notice. As you will be dealing with candidates and clients face-to-face (or via telephone or online), you should have excellent communication skills and immaculate presentation.
