Job Description

HP4 Recruitment require a Project Manager to work for an established contractor who specialise in the delivery of projects on behalf of Network Rail. My client delivers a variety of schemes from large scale engineering projects on train depots to station upgrades. The Rail Project Manager will ensure the maximising of productivity, whilst maintaining adherence to company procedures, including administration of all paperwork and liaison with clients. Main Duties for the Rail Project Manager: • Contract & Commercial management both pre-construction through to delivery • Reporting & supporting the Senior Project Manager from tender stages through to completion • To ensure that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards. • Sub contractor management, ultimate control of all people on-site. • Liaison and co-ordination of all technical queries working to a program of works • Contributing to business development Required: - Rail / London Underground essential. - Construction qualification required (HNC as a minimum, degree qualified is desirable) - Experience heading up schemes in excess of £1 - 5m is essential This is a long term contract role with weekly payments, working for an established contractor in Central London.
