An opportunity has arisen for a Pharmacy Technician Homecare to work within the Pharmacy Department based in the University Hospital Crosshouse.  You will join a team which provides a range of pharmacy services to patients in NHS Ayrshire and Arran.

 

This post is suitable for a registered Pharmacy Technician with Pharmacy experience.  You will possess a National Certificate in Pharmaceutical Sciences qualification and an SVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent.

 

This post is based within the existing Homecare team and there will be an opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of hospital pharmacy including dispensing services, distribution and ward services.

 

A car driver/owner is essential.

 

Hours: 15 hours per week, you will work on a shift system which includes a commitment to cover 7 days a week including weekends and evenings.  You will also be required to participate in the Public holidays rotas.
