Job Description


An impressive and well-established Secondary Academy in Luton is looking for a PE and Maths Teacher to start after the October 2019 half term in the new academic year. The ideal candidate will be a PE specialist, but will offer some confidence in also teaching some Maths at KS3 level.

Overseas based candidates are welcome to apply as there is an excellent induction and mentoring programme in place.

Key responsibilities of the role

  • Planning and delivering lessons in line with the PE and Maths curriculums;
  • Liaising with various staff and caregivers to ensure quality education for all students;
  • Continuous marking and reporting on student progress and achievement;
  • Participation and attendance in various CPD and staff meetings;
  • Extra-curricular involvement where applicable.
