My client a leaing IT solutions provider are seeking to recruit an Office 365 Engineer for a 12-18 month HOMEBASED contract. You will bring the below skill set :

Responsibilities

Assessing customer environments, networks, and software to identify the actions needed for a smooth and efficient cloud onboarding and migration (where applicable).
Leading with an identity driven security approach based on best practices.
Defining and drive the execution of remediation plans together with the customer's ITDMs and BDMs
Lead the enablement of the services and delivering governance best practices
Ensuring all migration prerequisites are satisfied in a timely manner to guarantee a successful velocity migration
Identifying and recommending value add services to remediate technical blockers or avoid future incidents
Serving as technical advisers and owning the resolution of issues that arise during the onboarding phases.
Maintaining a strong working & technical knowledge of 365 services, taking ownership for driving service improvements
Cultivating and sharing knowledge proactively with others through communities, solution documents, and social media to drive strong collaboration across the FTC.
Capturing engagement data, customer health, and communicating process and technology improvement feedback.
Representing the Voice of the Customer leveraging current toolsets.

Qualifications

Core Technical Skills

* Microsoft Office 365 / EMS / Windows 10 technical competency: possess a in depth knowledge of Office 365 services and architecture including other cloud products
* Intune technical competency: possess a broad knowledge of Intune or any other mobile device management software
* Understanding and ability to describe the key attributes of core cloud concepts (Paas, SaaS, IaaS) and how Microsoft's offerings (M365/Azure) align
* Must be able to clearly articulate Microsoft cloud identity (cloud only/hybrid) and authentication options
* Must have prior understanding around the importance of security and compliance concepts (e.g. common security attacks, privacy, GDPR, retention, eDiscovery, etc).
* Experience with execution of end to end projects, including migrations.
* Fundamental networking knowledge - IP, DNS, WINS, IP routing, network address translation with medium or advanced skills in switches, routers, firewalls.
* Strong problem-solving ability ranging from conceptualization to implementation
* Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple planforms and systems

* Must have the ability to take initiative and work in a fast-paced high-stress environment while balancing multiple demands, addressing shifting priorities, and maintaining focus.
* Collaboration: able to work in a multi-cultural environment and to adapt to the customer's needs
