An opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist to join the Occupational Therapy team based in Ballot Road Clinic in Irvine. It is essential that you have a Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy and have a HCPC registration.

 

The team is committed to continuous service improvement aiming to achieve the best outcomes for people, focussing on strengths and making creative use of a range of assets and resources.  The service is continually transforming based on service user feedback, locality modelling and strategic drivers in relation to mental health and well-being, health promotion, early intervention, prevention and participation.

 

You will be an innovative and flexible Occupational Therapist who will work collaboratively with people residing in North Ayrshire within community and in-patient setting.

 

Working knowledge of IT applications is an essential requirement for this role.

 

You will undertake autonomous assessment and will work in partnership with individuals and significant others to set personalised goals that have meaning and purpose.  Interventions will occur in the community and in-patient setting.

 

Experience of working across specialities in support of integrated and person centred care would be an advantage, however not essential.  Proven leadership skills and experience of service improvement would be considered a valuable asset.

 

Clinical and line management supervision will be provided and we are keen to support applicants to learn and develop skills within the role.

 

A car driver/owner is essential for this role.
