Inbound Customer Service Advisor (Full-Time, Permanent) - Runcorn call centre

Are you interested in full time call centre work, but put off by the thought of having to make outbound sales calls? We're recruiting inbound sales advisors for Capita, one of the UK's biggest outsource companies to handle customer service enquiries for Marks & Spencer. If you are a strong communicator and can offer an excellent customer experience at all times then this could be the role for you, particularly if you require flexible evening working hours to suit your lifestyle.

The call centre is based in Preston Brook, Runcorn, Cheshire (postcode WA7 3QA), close to the M6 and M56 with good public transport access from the Widnes, Frodsham and St Helens areas.

The role:

You'll be processing orders and dealing with a wide range of customer service enquiries. There's absolutely no cold calling in this role and all of the calls you handle will be inbound.

The details:

* 37.5 hours per week
* £15,990 per annum
* A great opportunity
* Working rotational shifts between 7am and 11pm Monday to Sunday
* 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis

What you will be doing:

* You will be working to promote the brand and deliver a high standard of customer service to every customer.
* Speaking to customers over the telephone and placing orders for clothing, homeware, flowers, furniture and food.
* Processing and replying to customer emails.
* Inputting orders on the in-house computer system.
* Taking credit and debit card payments from customers.
* Dealing with customer queries, aiming for first time resolution on every call.
* Ensuring attention to detail is maintained when placing orders/speaking to customers.
* Using multiple systems including in-house systems, emails and excel
* Tracking orders via carrier systems

Ideally, you will have customer service experience but that doesn't necessarily have to have been gained in a call centre. We welcome applications from those who have previously worked in the care, hospitality and retail sectors, or any industry where you have had to face customers directly. You must be able to pass a credit check.
