Becoming a HR Manager with Capita HR Solutions

Capita are looking for a HR Manager to provide HR support to the Education sector whilst providing leadership and guidance to the HR team. The ideal candidate will also enjoy managing and delivering on projects whilst building and embedding relationships with key stakeholders.


What you will do

  • Provide leadership & management of best practice HR services, with specific focus on the Education sector.
  • Manage and develop client relationships to ensure service standards are met.
  • Work with clients to understand the key business performance issues, drivers and objectives.
  • Manage the delivery of all aspects of operational employee relations issues.
  • Ensure effective management of the team, coaching & mentoring HR staff to develop their HR skills.
  • To identify, manage and develop business opportunities and continued growth.
  • Contribute to a co-ordinated approach to service improvements and developments.
  • Identify and deliver internal HR initiatives and service improvements.
  • Provide timely and effective reporting on the delivery of services.
  • Develop networks across the business & with external stakeholders to identify new business opportunities.
  • Be a positive role model of the HR Service and demonstrate key behaviours.
  • Ensure the application and compliance of all legislative & audit controls.
  • Support the strategic direction of Capita HR Solutions.


Your experience will include

  • Competent in managing and delivering a customer-facing HR operational services.
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR initiatives, employment law and personnel best practice.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Experience of consulting with trade unions/ staff representative groups.
  • Evidence of delivering HR projects to meet client specifications.
  • Experience of managing the performance and coaching HR staff.
  • Current and valid driving licence with own transport.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development in HR.
  • HR related Qualification (desirable)
  • CIPD membership - Chartered Level MCIPD (desirable)
