Higher Level Teaching Assistant - English

Fixed term for 12 Months

32.5 hours per week; 39 weeks per year (includes all 8 Inset days)

8.30 am to 3.30 pm 3 days a week

9 am to 4 pm 2 days a week

(30 minutes unpaid lunch break each day)

Grade 12 Point 12 Actual annual salary £16,831

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person to join our team of Higher Level Teaching Assistants within the English department. The HLTA will complement the work of the teacher, by taking responsibility for the delivery of reading and literacy interventions for small groups of students across the age range.

This positon plays a crucial role in Court Fields School. We are proud of our students' achievements and we are looking for people who are able to help us continue to move our school forward. If you would like to be part of a team that always puts children first, we would like to hear from you.

Although experience would be an advantage, we are looking for an adult who enjoys working with young people and has a passion for reading which they can share with our children. The right attitude, a desire to be part of our journey and the ability to put our children's education first are the qualities that are most important to us.

The vacancy is for 32.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year, fixed term for 12 months.
