Solent NHS Trust has exciting opportunities for Health Care Support Workers to join our Bank Staffing Service. You will be part of a Local NHS Trust specialising in the provision of community health services within Southampton, Portsmouth and surrounding areas in Hampshire.

We currently require Health Care Support Workers to work within the following services in Southampton:

  • Inpatient Rehabilitation wards at Royal South Hants
  • Neuropsychiatric & Neuro Rehabilitation at Western Community Hospital

You also have the option to work for other services within Solent NHS Trust when you join the Bank Staffing Service.

Applicants must have a minimum of 6 months experience working in an acute care setting or equivalent and hold an NVQ Level 2 in Healthcare. Previous healthcare experience is essential in order to work on our busy wards. A care certificate is desirable for this role.

We welcome applications from individuals who are motivated, enthusiastic and possess good communication skills. You must be organised with a positive attitude towards flexibility and able to work a mixture of early, late and night shifts. You would be expected to work as part of a team, supporting our qualified nursing staff to care for patients.
