| Medical (UHH) ,Acute Services - University Hospital Hairmyres , As part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will carry out routine personal care/assist with routine examination duties for patients, in support of (and supervised by), a registered nurse/clinician. The post holder will ensure a person centred approach to care delivery which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy. The post holder will carry out assigned duties to maintain hygiene, order and safety within the ward/department environment. Duties may vary with the type of ward/department and the degree of patient dependency. Knowledge of personal care and related procedures or previous volunteer or work experience in a health, education or social environment. Required to undertake on the job training and induction.
