*** Daily rate of £60-£70 as a Graduate Learning Mentor

As a recent graduate, with an excellent academia, would you benefit from gaining school-based experience before training to become a teacher?

Perhaps you would like to mentor secondary Students, helping them to achieve the very best?

EduStaff are working with a well-established Secondary School, based in Maidstone, who are now looking to appoint a talented graduate to join them as a KS3/KS4 Learning Mentor on an immediate basis.

We are looking for a Graduate who:
•    Has obtained a 1st Class or 2:1 in their chosen university degree
•    Has an excellent background of GCSE and A Level results
•    Experience working with Secondary aged students or tutoring at GCSE level may be beneficially but is not essential
•    Must have a love for education and be willing to infuse this into a Secondary School setting

Learning Mentor: The School
This a small yet well-established Secondary School found in the leafy depths of Maidstone. This school takes pride in its ‘Outstanding’ grading from Ofsted but has ambitions to continue to become even better. The school flourishes it’s halls with superb teaching and love for education. It has a welcoming environment and the students are eager to learn.

Learning Mentor: The Role
In this Graduate Learning Mentor post you will be working in different functions across the whole school and you will be helping to support the learning of EAL pupils. The school run various after school clubs in sporting, academic and creative areas and you will have the excellent chance to help plan their activities. The successful candidate will also can train as a teacher.
