The company has 12 offices around the world, employs over 500+ staff and a network of more than 15,000 linguists. Every month, thebigword handles 1 million minutes of telephone interpreting, 17,000 face-to-face interpreting assignments and half a billion words of translation.
We are recruiting for x 2 Face to Face Interpreting Coordinator's to efficiently coordinate our clients and customers requirements.
Purpose: To work within the Interpreting Operations team dealing with all enquires related to face to face interpreting assignments ensuring the completion of booking requests within agreed margins and timescales.
Key Responsibilities:

To manage the full life cycle of face-to-face interpreting bookings

  • Maintain effective communication channels with suppliers and develop positive supplier relationships
  • To build client relationships, ensuring business retention and identifying new opportunities
  • Make follow up and retention calls to clients
  • Provide support to thebigword Interpreting Services, as required
  • Escalation of issues to Senior Interpreting Coordinators and the F2F Team Leader
  • Maintain effective communication channels with all Interpreting Services team members and thebigword departments
  • Deliver allocated bookings within agreed timescales and service level agreements
  • Deliver bookings within agreed margins
  • Provide highest levels of customer service to the clients

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Customer Service experience, ideally gained within a Contact Centre environment
  • IT Literate
  • Adaptable and able to manage change
  • Problem solving skills
  • NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration (or equivalent) - desirable
