Location:  Global South preferred (location subject to OIS being able to establish a contract of employment via a hosting affiliate or directly), Nairobi preferred.

Contract: Permanent

The Role

Oxfam International Secretariat is looking for a Digital Community Engagement Manager to Work closely with the audience team to engage our captive audiences recruited via all Oxfam and non-Oxfam digital channels, including websites, action platforms, email, social media and lists, to engage with, connect, and prioritize signed up audiences. Leads on partnerships, furthering collaborations with influencers, allies, new media, and other platforms.

Who we’re looking for

Someone with Strong knowledge of digital community engagement – managing online communities and ensuring and deepening engagement. You must have excellent communications skills, with fluent written and spoken English, including the ability to communicate complex ideas simply. Additionally, you must have excellent project management skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and markets to embed an agreed coherent and listening approach to audience engagement. You must have experience working as a digital community manager launching community initiatives (e.g. building online forums, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series, writing engaging email newsletters)
