Compliance Support Analyst


This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of an innovative online learning service that Pearson has launched. Working in partnership with universities across the UK, the Pearson Online Learning Services (POLS) team provides online learning services including marketing, student recruitment, course content development, training and ongoing student support.

Purpose of the position

Following a period of rapid growth, the POLS UK business now requires a Compliance Support Analyst to focus on the onboarding and compliance of suppliers and platforms.

This role will suit a determined and enthusiastic individual to manage the day-to-day operation of onboarding platforms and suppliers, along with compliance issues such as privacy and data security issues, accessibility compliance, RAID management, and managing the platforms and supplier audits and inventory. We are looking for a dedicated and driven individual who is committed to getting it right with a never-ending desire to learn, improve and contribute.


You will be self-motivated, diligent and accurate, able to work under pressure to meet business and project demands within a dynamic and fast paced environment. You are easily able to respond with urgency to solve problems as they emerge, through effective communication and coordination with the wider project delivery team, support functions and vendors.

? Onboarding platforms and suppliers;

? Liaise with the Data Protection Office regarding Privacy compliance across all projects;

? Liaise with the Chief Information Security Office regarding data security compliance;

? Respond to data security issues and liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve

? Liaise with the Accessibility team regarding WCAG compliance;

? Manage the Safe Data Handling Policies including internal annual review

? RAID management;

? Manage the platforms and supplier inventory and audits;

? Support on platforms such as Zoom and SFTPs; and

? Collaborate on projects when needed.

? Worked in both Agile and Waterfall environments
