Job Description


An opportunity has arisen for an 2x Administration Clerks to support Liverpool Wheelchair Service, based at Lifehouse (Brunswick Business Park). We are part of Community Equipment Disability Advice Service (CEDAS), providing health and social care equipment to meet the needs of Liverpool residents.

The post holder will provide a high quality and efficient administrative support to the Liverpool Wheelchair/Repair Line Service. They must possess the following:

A high level of computer literacy
Effective communication and interpersonal skills in order to liaise with a wide range of disciplines and agencies
Competent to liaise with the public both face to face and telephone dealing with wheelchair repair requests in an efficient and effective manner, and liaising with external providers/healthcare professionals
Be able to plan, prioritise and schedule work to meet tight deadlines
Be able to work efficiently and effectively within teams and to work on own initiative
Have the ability to work in a confidential and sensitive manner, with an understanding of the Data Protection Act 1998 and Confidentiality
The post holder will be flexible in working across sites if necessary
