Job Description


The Luton & Dunstable University Hospital is a highly rated, diverse and forward thinking place to work. We are a Foundation Trust serving a multi-cultural population of over 350,000 across Bedfordshire and North Hertfordshire.

The Trust Boards of Luton and Dunstable University Hospital and Bedford Hospital are working towards becoming a single new NHS Foundation Trust with effect from 1st April 2020. Similarly we had an overall rating of “Good” across the rest of the hospital. We were praised as compassionate, empathetic and exhibiting patient outcomes above the average when compared with other acute Trusts.

We are a regional centre of excellence for several key specialties including, Obesity Research, Neurophysiology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology and Cancer Services. We are a tertiary level NICU provider and one of the largest centres for breast screening in the country.

We are looking for an apprentice to join our friendly administration team.

The successful candidate will study for a Level 2 NVQ in Business Administration whilst completing on the job training.

The role will be varied, and provide you with a wide range of experience from undertaking various administrative tasks in our admin office.

This is a fixed term contract for 13 months

If you hold a business/admin qualification at level 2 or above already then this position won’t be suitable.
