Assistant Administrator

Temp Position up to 3 months

Full time -Monday to Friday

£10- £10.50 per hour

Tate are recruiting an attentive and focused individual who is passionate, with strong skills in administration, to join an innovative business based in Cambridge. As an Assistant Administrator you will be providing major support and assistance to senior staff while maintaining efficient and effective administration services to the rest of the division. More than that you will be responsible for co-ordinating the routine office administration independently, a real opportunity to be part of a fantastic team and make a difference.

Assistant Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Administering procedures for both new starters and leavers within the division.
  • Arranging the completion of all HR and financial documentation including co-ordinating expense reimbursements.
  • Preparing documents leading to updating HR records including contracts, extensions and managerial changes.
  • Be first port of call for guidance and information within relevant division and seminars.
  • Circulating news and information around the office and teams via available systems.
  • Arranging and management of seminars involving being an information hub.
  • Be responsible for divisional resource stock e.g. stationery, laptops, memory sticks, laser pointers, photocopier as well as provide support.
  • Create general correspondence documents including letters.
  • Scanning, filing and photocopying.
  • Inbound and outbound post.

The ideal Assistant Administrator must haves:

  • 5 GCSE's, or equivalent, including minimum of Grade C Maths & English.
  • Experienced as an Administrator in a busy office.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Proven track record of problem solving within an office environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Focus on time management, understanding and prioritising your workload is key.
  • Conscientious approach to responsibilities including interacting with individuals and teams at all levels.
  • Work to tight deadlines.

This is a full-time position, working within a friendly collaborative team based in Cambridge, accessible by public transport and with the option of parking onsite.
