Hays are recruiting for a fantastic and diverse business based in Norwich. This national organisation are one of the market leaders in their industry and have an excellent record of retaining and developing staff.
Your new role
The main purpose of the role is to assist the Finance Manager and wider Finance team in the production of monthly accounting information and support transactional accounting processes. This will encompass:
Supporting with monthly statutory accounts production
Monthly management accounts preparation including prepayments and accruals
Balance Sheet interrogation
Production and analysis of the P&L
Assisting with the input and processing of purchase ledger invoices
Any ad hoc needs of the wider team.
This is a full time role working Monday to Friday 9-5.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need previous experience in a similar accounting capacity and understand the intricacies of management and financial accounting processes. You will ideally be AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA or CIMA and have excellent Excel skills to perform vlookups and if formulas. You will be available immediately or on short notice.
