HMP Doncaster, is a Category B men's private prison, located in the Marshgate area of Doncaster in South Yorkshire.

Care UK were recently awarded the healthcare contract at HMP YOI Doncaster and will take over on 1st September 2017; we are the Health in Justice Market leader, providing healthcare services to offenders across the country. Our model of care is our Wellbeing Approach – an integrated, comprehensive approach in recognition of the fact prisoners are a socially-excluded group with healthcare needs which are complex and often associated with poor outcomes. It adopts the premise no single health/wellbeing factor can be taken in isolation of other motivational issues which might impact a person’s care.

To ensure the continued quality of care at HMP YOI Doncaster, we’re looking for an Administrator to support us and the existing team in this new venture.

About the Job

As an experienced Administrator, you can expect to contribute to the delivery of administration services, providing administrative support to the management team and wider Healthcare team. The role will have you working within a busy team, completing a variety of administrative tasks and working on various IT systems. You will be required to communicate effectively with 3rd parties such has hospital trusts, subcontractors and prison colleagues to ensure appropriate patient care is maintained at all times

The Job Requirements

If you are an enthusiastic, energetic person with great communication skills, you will be a perfect fit for the position. You will be able to work as part of a team effectively but also under your own initiative.
Qualification of NVQ 2 Business Administration or Equivalent Admin Experience is essential.
Experience working within a healthcare setting would be desirable

Salary and Benefits

The salary range is up to £ 18,000 per annum - dependent on experience.
