Job Description

Account Manager

Established in 2006 Solent Beds and Furniture is now the largest independent furniture retailer on the Isle of Wight. Every Solent Beds employee is committed to offering the very best service, and our aim is to help you find the perfect furniture for your home.

As our Accounts Manager you will continually develop, co-ordinate and improve business performance with the management team. You will monitor team performance and financial analytics to improve the overall standard of our business.

Responsibilities:

Oversee supplier invoices and Payments.

Reconcile all payments throughout the business.

Manage the finance payments and paperwork.

Calculate and submit VAT Returns.

Produce management reports.

Liaise with multiple departments to accurate collate financial information.

Manage and submit company Payroll.

Develop new business with existing clients and identify areas of improvement throughout the business.

Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)

Collaborate with management team to identify and grow opportunities within the sector.

Ensure accuracy throughout the financial records of the business.

Essential Qualities:

The ability to communicate effectively across multi-channel departments to achieve group success.

Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.

Excellent listening, project management, and presentation abilities.

Strong verbal and written communications.

Ability to work well as part of a team through a fast-paced environment.
