University Hospital Monklands is looking for an enthusiastic pharmacy technician (Band 5) to join our pharmacy team!

The successful candidate will provide pharmaceutical technical services across all sections within the pharmacy department, including dispensary, aseptic as well as within the ward environment undertaking activities such as compiling medication histories. You will also support the senior pharmacy technicians in overseeing day-to-day operations

We are looking for a pharmacy technician who consistently demonstrates professional behaviours and the core values of NHS Lanarkshire; respect, fairness, quality and working together. You should be able to demonstrate a clear commitment to continuous professional development. It is an exciting time at University Hospital Monklands with a new modern aseptic pharmacy unit, introduction of Hospital Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (HEPMA) and developing future plans for the replacement of the current hospital site.
